Imamzadeh Saleh among Iran’s top tourist attractions

Tajrish Square, with its various tourist attractions to visit, is where one of the most famous mosques and mausoleums of Tehran is located.

The holy shrine entombs Imamzadeh Saleh (AS), one of Imam Musa al-Kazim's (AS) sons and Imam Reza’s (AS) brothers.

To get to the holy place, around 30,000 visitors walk through one of the main bazaars of Tehran situated to the south east of Tajrish Square, on a daily basis. Therefore, the pilgrimage site is most often accompanied by shopping in the markets that have surrounded the shrine.

Besides, the mausoleum is a popular location for Iranians who wish to spend the early hours of the Persian New Year in a spiritual ambiance.
